Everyday at Stella

Regular procedures in the form of small rituals and agreed upon rules create security and orderly coexistence within a community. On a typical Stella day, in addition to the fixed times of snacks and lunch, a morning circle, small group and exercise activities take place. Of course, there is also ample time allotted to free play as well as an after lunch rest period.

In the two and four year old groups, daily routine is a bit more flexible, and is adapted to the needs of these smaller children. Generally, the morning free play time is somewhat longer to provide for enough time for the children to fit into the group and start their day peacefully. The morning circle is also somewhat shorter due to their shorter attention spans.

Stella children wear a uniform consisting of short or long sleeved polo shirt and a sweater, each containing the Stella logo. You will receive these garments from us after your child has been admitted to the corresponding location.
